Tanta (aunt) Anni Rexburg

Servus,

we finally arrived at the house of Lauras relatives in Rexburg Idaho, who gave us accomodation and food, we are very thankful for that, thanks Anni and Dale!
We had a couple of nice Days in Idaho, first of all it was Uncle Dales birthday, thus Pam was there as well and we went to a buffet in Idaho falls, the next day we took a little trip to Island Park, Mesa Falls and the house of Johnny Sack, a German immigrant who came to Idaho and build his own house with his own hands and tools.
After these two nice days and the departure of Pam, Laura and me decided to go to Yellowstone National Park for 2 Days but this will be another post.

Here are our pictures of the stay with Ann and Dale.
As we arrive in Idaho we were surprised by a little snowstorm, remeber two days ago we had 30 degrees.
 More snow on the highways.
This was the birthdaycake, which Pam brought for her father, he loves playing golf.
The day after we went to the Mesa falls and here you can see some flora at the upper falls.(We like the changeing colours)
As it is going to be winter, all the cows need to be gathered.
This are the lower falls, kinda impressing and Dale told us, that this is the starting point for some raftingtrips.
Here you can see the little watermill of Johnny Sacks house to create electricity.
And this was his house he started to build in the early 1930's right next to a spring.
We also had something to do in the evening, we played some Pokergames and the big chipmountain on the right is Lauras. The charming Lady on the left is Anni and right next to her you can see the man of the house, Dale it was nice to meet you all.
We also went to Ashton, the city where Dale was born and raised and he showed us the best milkshakes we ever had, they were delicious, thanks for that too.
 This are the upper falls.
 Closeup.
What is this? A fish? A beaver? No it is a water rat haha I never heard of that crazy things are going on in Idaho  I bet all the potatoes driving the rats going crazy.
And some domestic ducks, who are living in the pure well water.
Here some more snow, it covered the ground for about 2 days.
Laura and me in front of the Upper Falls and again with sunglases, greetz zo mum.

Thats it our next stop as mentioned is Yellowstone so be prepared for great nature pictures.

Arches National Park

Oink Oink,

here we are with some new, fascinating pictures of the beautiful artworks of mother nature.

Like I said we continue with the Arches National Park and how the name says, there are a lot of Arches, the most Arches in the world on one place.

Like in almost every national parc the stone formations are a result of the forces of mother nature as well, which there are, wind, water, ice and the world known G-force.

Arches Nationalpark is located in Utah and as mentioned there are the most arches in the world but its just a matter of time till some of them collapse or newones are created.

Here are the pictures be prepared.
To be honest I forgott about the name of this arch but it is a nice arch.
This is the Balanced Rock, as you can see the weather wasnt the best but even with this cloudy sky the park is amazing.
some more balanced rocks but not as popular like the one above.
There were a lot of cactuses on the way so watch your steps.
Also some rock climbers used the handy walls for climbing.
This are the rocks if you take a closup from them.
And this machine here is the most popular arch in the park the Dedicated Arch, I bet u have seen him before.
This is my favourite the Double Arch, he looks amazing doesnt he?
This is the Double O Arch but the Double is way cooler.
This is the Double from inside.
This was a Sand Dune in between of 2 high walls.
Some of the domestic flora, chanhing their colours.
Me like always in an unbeatable appearance.
I really dont know, why I am always sourounded by Corax and Azeal but please focus on the green gravel, that is impressing.
This is an hidden arch on the entrance of the park.
And this is the famous Landscape Arch, which has a span of a football field and in 1991 a huge piece broke out of the arch, which you can see on the upper left side of the arch and I bet this arch will collapse soon or as first.
Laura again in proessional hikers gear.
This was the Pine Tree Arch, not hard to remember, cause of the sign, this is a massiv arch.
Here you can see the Turret Arch, not much to say about it.
And this one is the Tunnel Arch, looks like a tunnel. Before I forgott we made a terrible mistake , we aproached an animal I mean it wanst that terrible, we survived but we were glad and  I even captured this monster on camera here have alook.
Ok just an ordanary bug thats all we saw. And now we come to the Eyes of the Archespark, the big Windows
I start up with the Northwindow.
And here are both North and South.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me and if not just enjoy the scenery.

Thanks your Hol(e)ycouple.

Next stop is tante Anni in Rexburg, a relative of Laura.

Capitol Reef

Hello back,

we reached Capitol Reef National Recreation Area, but we just drove through it and stoped sometimes if we saw some interessting things and of course we want to share our impressions with you guys.

There is not much to say about Capitol Reef , because as I said we just drove throught.
First we saw a little sign at the street which said Natural Bridge 1.5 miles, alright left turn and ready to hike and here you can see the natural bridge:

Pretty much at the same spot there were mural paintings from long ago.

HAHA this is the mens playground here you can have some fun with OHV's (Off-highway-vehicles.)
We saw a rainbow as well.
And some high walls.

Bt thats pretty much all what we can present to you from Capitol Reef.

Next stop Arches National Park , Yippee.

Bryce Canyon

Before we wrrived at Bryce Canyon we stopped at a beautiful little garden with fishponds (and 10 pound fishes) and a Parrot and a Zipline , that was fun.
 Supercool Parrot.
 I Hate parrots.
Laura at the top of the first Zipline.
Big deer.
before we arrived Bryce we stoped again and made a ATV tour about 3 hours throgh the wilderness, on our own.haha. We saw alot of Antelopes, which can run 70 mile per houre, thats fast.
 Just a tunnel.
This is Bryce Canyons' the famous Hoodoos, this are stone formations on the estern rim of the paunsaugunt plateau in Utah.If you look closely, you can see people so you can compare the size of the hoodoos.
This is me in a pretty cool pose.
Me and Laura, so you dont forgett our faces.
Corax was there as well, I spoke to him and he gave me a connection to the Anderswelt.
This is the beautiful and huge Amphitheatre bryce is famous for. The formations are caused by wind water and ice as in almost everycase and the colours are a result of oxidation of iron and other substances in the rocks.
This is a nearby lake, we passed it with the ATV.
LAura infront of the natural bridge of Bryce Canyon.
 Again the Amphietheatre.
And again from a different viewpoint.
Oh whats that? Again the theatre and even with an worldclass  actor.
 Our ATV.
 Nice colours.
 and it even snowed overnight.
A squirrel in the trees watching our ATV.
And in the late afternoon a thunderstorm started to come in.

Last words to Bryce, Its way cooler than Grand Canyon, Grand Cyn is a bit overrated, its just big, but this one is beatiful and you can see way more things than in the Grand.

Thanks your racingcouple.
