Tanta (aunt) Anni Rexburg

Servus,

we finally arrived at the house of Lauras relatives in Rexburg Idaho, who gave us accomodation and food, we are very thankful for that, thanks Anni and Dale!
We had a couple of nice Days in Idaho, first of all it was Uncle Dales birthday, thus Pam was there as well and we went to a buffet in Idaho falls, the next day we took a little trip to Island Park, Mesa Falls and the house of Johnny Sack, a German immigrant who came to Idaho and build his own house with his own hands and tools.
After these two nice days and the departure of Pam, Laura and me decided to go to Yellowstone National Park for 2 Days but this will be another post.

Here are our pictures of the stay with Ann and Dale.
As we arrive in Idaho we were surprised by a little snowstorm, remeber two days ago we had 30 degrees.
 More snow on the highways.
This was the birthdaycake, which Pam brought for her father, he loves playing golf.
The day after we went to the Mesa falls and here you can see some flora at the upper falls.(We like the changeing colours)
As it is going to be winter, all the cows need to be gathered.
This are the lower falls, kinda impressing and Dale told us, that this is the starting point for some raftingtrips.
Here you can see the little watermill of Johnny Sacks house to create electricity.
And this was his house he started to build in the early 1930's right next to a spring.
We also had something to do in the evening, we played some Pokergames and the big chipmountain on the right is Lauras. The charming Lady on the left is Anni and right next to her you can see the man of the house, Dale it was nice to meet you all.
We also went to Ashton, the city where Dale was born and raised and he showed us the best milkshakes we ever had, they were delicious, thanks for that too.
 This are the upper falls.
 Closeup.
What is this? A fish? A beaver? No it is a water rat haha I never heard of that crazy things are going on in Idaho  I bet all the potatoes driving the rats going crazy.
And some domestic ducks, who are living in the pure well water.
Here some more snow, it covered the ground for about 2 days.
Laura and me in front of the Upper Falls and again with sunglases, greetz zo mum.

Thats it our next stop as mentioned is Yellowstone so be prepared for great nature pictures.

Your Naturecouple.
