Grand Canyon

Canyonlands are huge and we travel long distances to get from A to B.
I guess we dont need to tell you guy, that the Grand Canyon is really big but before I show you the pictures, I will give you some 'By the Ways' about formations and development.

Scientists still try to find reasons and explanations about the genesis of the Grand Canyon.
The most common explanation is the Colorado River which carved the Canyon in the Colorado Plateau through million of years.
The Canyon is located in Arizona and is a 450 kilometer long and 30 km wide, steep-sided ravine.
Also the Colorado River responsible for the different layers of the Canyon.

And here we go, some impressive pictures with semi-good wheater.

 We went for a short hiking tour into the Canyon and Laura was ready to hit the trails with her new and awesome hikingboots.(The trip took us three hours down the Canyon to a nearby tunnel.

 Wow we both.

 This was the flora on top of the plateau, all the trees are changing their colours now.
And the picture below shows the burned trees, caused by thunderstorms.
