Newport and Sealionscave

Welcome back!
So here are the pictures of Newport Coast and City.

Coast Highway 101 right in front of Newport.
Newports Waterfront, there are a lot of painted houses, this one got some gray Whales on it.
Very impressing was the huge amount of sealions right on the piers and rocks all around Newport.
After we discovered the fishmarket, we decided to try our luck and go out on a boat for some whale watching.
Surprisingly, short after our departure, a big gray whale appeared right next to our boat and she swam with us for a while.
Here you can see the back of the graceful animal.
By the way the Ocean was super windy and full of big waves, we nearly puked because the boat shook quite hard. Right after the Whale watching and a little recreation time we went to the underwater gardens where you can see a little show with a couple of strange looking animals it was fun to see but we didnt take fotos there. Next we drove further down to the sealions caves, they have a pretty big hype so we decided to go there, you pay 20 bucks (2pers.) and then you take an elevator ride down to the caves, I mean it is a nice view on top and at the bottom but you are sourounded by fences and you dont have much freespace, furthermore there was only one sealion in there, so its definitaly not worth the money.

After this dissapointing experience we decided to head on south, direction Oregon Dunes, soon the sun starts to dissapear and we looked for a nearby campground to watch the sunset at the beach.
It isnt hard to find campgrounds on the route 101, there are plenty. We found a nice place soon and went to the beach to see the sunset.

thats it thats all, right now we are in Fort Bragg but we still have some fotos of the Dunes which will be dropped off soon.

Stay Tuned, Kiss , Love , Happiness your couplawesome.
